Popomomo's F/W '08 collection was inspired by the work & magical world of Tony Duquette. Duquette was an LA based interior decorator & costume designer in the 60s.

His work was whimsical, irreverent & creatively & deceptively decadent. He would substitute spray painted dollar store items for antiques, bring the outdoors indoors, and create beauty through an almost forced juxtaposition of high & low.

Popomomo took inspiration from Duquette's use of the organic and the natural in decadent settings, and the magical life he lived with his wife.
