For this collection popomomo drew inspiration from the Russian avant-garde art movement, which spanned a variety of artists and ideas from 1850-1960. Focusing on Russian constructivism, popomomo explored the art and textile designs of Liubov Popova, one of main women from the movement. The movement is reflected in the S/S 2010 line’s strong geometric details and cutout shapes, in pops of colorful trims and abstract prints, and popomomo's simple yet sophisticatedly sexy easy pieces.
